STYLE/TASTE
Savoury, and vibrant with notes of cherries, pine needles and forest undergrowth. This wine has an incredible perfume. The palate is light and racy.
VARIETY
Pinot Noir clones including D5V12, 114,115 & martini.
VINEYARD
Norton Summit, Adelaide Hills. Perched high in the Mount Lofty ranges at 500m above sea level on a North-west facing slope. Vines are 30 Years old. Organic Farming.
WINEMAKING
Hand picked and 95% destemmed, we retained 5% whole bunch fruit here. Wild fermented and then left on skins for 4 weeks with gentle hand plunging. The wine was basket pressed and left to rest for 10 months before bottling.
